Once upon a time, there was nothing but darkness and chaos called Efu. But one day the unexpected happened and a ray of light leaked in the pitch of darkness. That is how the Great Builders, the creators of hope and faith appeared. They named themselves Et’arī, the creatures from the pure ancient energy. […]

The Great Builders were trying to dispel the darkness with divine light, but the Efu resisted strongly. It was a hard and long war between these two. But after more than a millennium of the great rebellion, Et’arī were finally able to subdue the darkness. […]

When Efu ruled there was no time, no space, no matter. There was tranquillity and silence, and nothingness reigned. After the war, to eradicate the rest of the Void, the Creators began to build a new era of the Universe, with time, space, matter, and living elements. The new era was named Tales of Chain because the further Et’arī spread their power of light, the longer was the chain of restraining dark forces. […]

Eleida became the first inhabited world. Through the appearance of matter and living elements, Et’arī were able to breathe life into a variety of creatures different in their forms, appearances, customs, magical, and physical abilities. As the creatures traveled the world, they created new settlements and continued to evolve and breed. Over a short period, 3 levels of different lands appeared — Low lands, Middle lands, and High lands. Low lands called Grottheim were caves and dungeons, mostly populated by goblins and trolls. Middle lands — the lands of men, elves, dwarves, orcs, hobbits, forest, and water creatures, with the capital of all trade ways — Stormfield. And the High lands — Empyrean, the realm of the great titans and dragons and Ætheria, the land inhabited by spirits of ancient elements and energies.

For a while, peacefulness and serenity reigned in Eleida: the lands prospered and developed as well as the creatures lived without wars, steadily establishing the connections between all the three lands. But the Darkness of Efu never truly disappeared. Having lost the main battle with the Great Builders, part of the darkness still managed to escape. It hid in order to someday regain strength and take everything back.

Little by little, Efu, through the suppression of weak creatures, was able to gather its strength to give the first strong rebuff. As a result, the darkness has made its master of all evils — the VoidMaster. The VoidMaster has brought bustle and turmoil to the lands of Eleida. He defiled and seduced creatures of the light to the grip of darkness. Anything and anyone touched by his void began to corrupt, decay and undergo drastic changes. Creatures faced with evil have lost their minds and forgotten about their families and friends, thinking only about bringing despair and suffering to others. Thus, the previously hidden and once feeble Efu began to accumulate and generate more and more power by creating the army of hellish creatures. The only purpose was to take revenge and make colossal retribution in order to restore the original state of eternal Darkness.

But the forces of light were not going to give up under the onslaught of Efu, and many of the strong remained faithful to the light and continued to fight for the right to live peacefully, preserving the heritage of Et’arī. The lands untouched by darkness desperately tried to unite, but wasn’t it already too late? […]

The burnt lands, destroyed settlements, vanity, and struggle for life…Thus begins another great war between the light and the dark.
