After the elves came to the forest and sang their great song, animals gained consciousness and a sense of spirituality.*This affected also the trees, which began to awaken by the powerful magic of elves. Trees that stood unbothered for centuries, began to come to life. Elves were amazed that the magic touched not only the inhabitants of the forest but also the plants and the trees. But it was the beginning of a new era, and everything that happened was happening for the good.
*Story of Elves
After absorbing the magic of the elves, a heart appeared inside the mighty body of the Treants in the form of a radiant magical aura, emitting blue light and penetrating the thickness of their trunks. All magic they drew from their heart, and the only way to kill the Treant is to destroy his heart, the source of his life.
When the hearts began to beat the trees one by one they started to show the first signs of life. The pioneer was a willow that grudgingly stirred its branches, then the ash tree that slowly moved its roots, then both the spruce and the birch began to stretch their trunks…And finally, the mighty oak, for whom it was the most difficult to stir due to its centuries-old roots deeply ingrown in the ground, started to wake up from the eternal sleep.
Because of their solid constitution only hundred years later Treants were able to take their first steps. Over two hundred, the Treants learned how to communicate with each other, which also prompted them to begin to communicate with other inhabitants of the forest. The elves were always eager to apply their knowledge and wisdom, therefore they helped them to reach a new level of communication. It was hard to make Treants learn the language, but the elves were patient. They loved to spend their free time lying under the trees when it was a hot season, so it did not take much effort for them to teach the trees. They truly enjoyed this time with them, even if Treants were a little bit slow-witted, they always were well-behaved, polite, and respected the time dedicated to them. Thus, although not fast, the Treants were able to master the gift of speech. Along with that, they developed the ability to heal and hear any vibration occurring in the forest. They mastered to use other trees and plants as messengers in order to tell them what was going on in the forest. That is why the title of spiritual guardians was assigned to them, personifying the great power of the forest and its wisdom.
